These guitars are also to play, not "resell". Although I can afford the Gibson ES-335, I wouldn't buy one after comparing it to the Epi Pro 335. The Epiphone Es-335 pro that I did do a head-to-head comparison with is a good example of what I am asking about. I've learned that some guitars that are 1/6th the price of a more costly guitar, can compare in various ways to the more costly guitar. Do the current standard casino's hang in favorably with the ES-330's. I do recall the Casino when made in Kalamazoo was similar to the ES-330 but the Kalamazoo Epiphones were a different breed.Ĭharlie, thanks for the comparison, that is what I am wondering. My Epiphone ES-335 compares favorably to Gibson's ES-335 and it only cost me $324. Has anyone compared the two ? If-so, what are the differences ? I can assume the ES-330 is much better, but I might be wrong. I am interested in how the ES-330 compares to a standard current MIC Epiphone Casino, the least expensive model. I'm not interested in how a Gibson ES-330 compares to an Epiphone Casino Elitist.
